LOTRO Release Notes: Update 2 Store Releases

Welcome to the Store Release Notes for The Lord of the Rings Online™! These release notes were updated Friday, March 18th 2011 with the latest new releases to the LOTRO Store!

Legendary Items

Legendary Slot Unlock

Level up and use up to two additional Legendary items by unlocking additional Legendary Item Slots in your Legendary Item panel.

Legendary Level Cap Increase

Increase your Legendary Item level cap by 10!

Legendary Point Reset

Reset all legendary points on a Legendary Item, allowing you reallocate them for different benefits.

Legacy Tier Upgrade

Upgrade the Tier of any Legacy on your Legendary Item, freeing up legendary points to further empower your weapon. Legacies can be upgraded to the current max tier.

Stat Legacy Replacements

Replace any Legacy with a Tier 4 Legacy of Agility, Fate, Might, Vitality, or Will.

Relic Packs

Yields a selection of Relics which can be broken down into shards or applied to Legendary Items. Available for Relic Tiers 1 through 4.

Relic Removal Scroll

Safely extract all relics from a Legendary Item so that you can use them in another Item.

Legendary Titles

Titles can provide additional weapon damage against a certain group of enemies, give additional damage to elemental based skills, change your damage type, or increase melee or tactical defence. 18 different titles available!

Skill Legacy Replacements

Give your Legendary Item the Legacy you’ve always wanted! Every major and minor legacy for both primary and secondary Legendary Items is now available in the LOTRO Store.

Quest Packs

Evendim Rebooted

Over 100 new quests have been added to the region of Evendim, making it the single largest region with over 200 quests total! The quest pack includes 4 solo instances and 4 6-man instances, one of which scales to level 65. More content, same price, free for VIPs!

Additional Storage Space

Shared Storage

Grants additional shared storage slots to be shared across all of your characters. 50 new slots available!

Cosmetics

Cosmetic Outfit Slots

Unlock up to three new cosmetic outfit slots, allowing you to switch to customized outfits on the fly!

Cosmetic Items

Over 35 new cosmetic items are available, ranging from Store Exclusives to Ceremonial quest rewards!

Advancement Boosts

Bonus Monster XP

Gives a bonus to experience earned from killing Monsters. Available in strengths of +10%, +20%, and +25%.

Skill Deed Boosts

Doubles the Class Skill Deed rate, and unlocks the daily skill deed limit while in effect. Completing deeds grants new and better abilities in addition to increasing the cap of your quest log.

Class Packs

A bundle of goods individually tailored to each class. Get class items, potions, acceleration tomes, and more!

Lore-master

Shire’s Sweet-leaf Pipe-weed

Revive allies using the skill Back from the Brink.

Combat Items

Battle Potion of Restoration

Instantly cure up to three wounds, diseases, poisons, and/or fears of your character’s level or less while in combat.

Morale Potions

Morale potions have been changed to provide a larger portion of the heal upfront.

Power Potions

Power potions have been changed to provide a larger portion of the power gain up front.

Travel

Milestone Skills

Bind at multiple Milestones with an additional destination Milestone Skill. Five new additions available!

Hurried Traveler

Reduce cooldowns on Milestone skills by 30 minutes. Works across all Milestone skills!

New Maps

Instantly travel almost anywhere with a Map! New locations have been added to Angmar, the North Downs, Moria, The Misty Mountains, Trollshaws, and Forochel.

Crumbling Thorin’s Hall Whistle

Summons a 6 hour Thorin’s Hall Goat, which can be used in Moria!

Mount Speed Boost

Increase your mount speed by 20% for 1-hour!

Riding Bundles

Get the riding skill and a standard mount of your choosing with just one purchase.

Character Enhancements

Stat Tome Bundles

Get all 5 Stat Tomes for a particular stat at once! Add 50 to an individual stat and round out your character, starting at level 1. (only available for those who have not purchased a Stat Tome for a particular stat). Cheaper in bulk!

Tasks

Increase Task Limit +1

The Increase Task Limit +1 item permanently increases the number of tasks a character can turn in per day by one. This can be purchases up to 5 times to increase your max Tasks per day to 10!
