[edit] Physical Description

Allanar is a physically large man, standing at just over six feet in height. He has broad shoulders and is very muscular. He has dark brown hair that looks black in most light and very rich blue eyes.

For the most part, he is happy and fun to be around. He has a very quick wit and sharp mind. Though he preffers to engage in the more passive pastimes of Middle-Earth such as fishing and crafting, does not mean that he can't fight when the time comes. It has been said that he is an incredibly cunning warrior, as he has been known in large-scale skirmishes, to pick targets one right after another firing crippling shots at them and then switching to another, keeping more than one opponent at a time hindered and unable to move at their fullest speed, allowing his allies to take their time in destroying the enemy.

It is because of his cunning nature that he just seems to figure things out faster than most people, and it is a rare thing indeed for him to have encountered a problem that he cannot immediately solve. This very particular nature of his also compels him to help others, but not by simply giving them the answers they seek, but trying to get them to think about things in a way that may be different from what they currently are, or by helping them to connect the dots from one part of a problem to another.

This is also the reason that he has been seen as mean, rude, unfriendly, and a pain, but he's really not doing it to be malicious. He firmly believes that the brain is a muscle, and the more you use it, the stronger it will get.

From the time he was very little, Allanar has known that he was adopted. Though he does not know who his authentic parents are, he does know who his family is. They are those who took him and his younger brother in and raised them. From the time he could cary a bow, he was taught to hunt in the Gondor wildernesses many times straying far from home to track his prey. As he trained and grew, it was this wandering far and wide on his own that taught him the self-sufficiency required to go anywhere and fit right in.

And so, pursuing tales of his childhood hero, the legendary Captain Thorangil, conqueror of the corsair invaders, Allanar vanished from the land of Gondor, crossing over into Eriador to track down and discover what happened to him.

In his journeys throughout Eriador, Allanar has joined a small army, helped invade Angmar to push back the rising tide of darkness from within, fell in love, and experienced terrible loss. He has made true and deep friendships, established a kinship of like-minded folks, fought in the war for the Ettenmoors, and helped tame the icy north.

As for right now, Allanar has his sights set on happiness, whatever that might bring. He will never turn a deaf ear to the call for adventure, but maybe along the way, he will find another love, even more friends, and and even deeper understanding of the way the world works.
