[edit] Description

Balaroc Bloodfoot is a hobbit of The Shire. Born the son of a bounder, he was taught early on the importance of responsibility and the desire to serve and protect those in need.

As The Shire is continuously threatened by the evils closing in on it's borders, Balaroc has chosen to take up arms to defend his home, and the people he loves.

Personality Description: Helpful and kind, Balaroc enjoys nothing more than doing good deeds for those in need, and then relaxing with a pipe and a stout ale. He's sharp-witted and quick to laugh, and basks in the simple pleasures of life in The Shire.

However, Balaroc is also a self-trained warrior, willing to face whatever dangers face him, in the name of The Shire! Though not easy to anger, he does have his limits of patience, and can be a fierce foe to those who confront him.

[edit] Kinship

Balaroc is the founder and leader of the kinship titled Guardians of the Nine Walkers.

An elf passing through The Shire approached Balaroc one day, and told him of a vision he had. In it, he saw a group appointed by Elrond in Rivendell to counter the Nazgul in the service of Sauron, The Necromancer. There were to be nine walkers made up of the Free Peoples to match the nine ringwraiths of the Dark Lord. The elf, never giving his name, explained to Balaroc that in this vision, he saw the hobbit form a kinship in order to guard and protect the nine appointed by Elrond. These were to be the Guardians of the Nine Walkers.

Balaroc took the elf's words to heart, and the kinship was formed.
