Most armour in LOTRO falls into three categories: Light Armour, Medium Armour, and Heavy Armour. The type of armour a character can wear is dependent on the character's class. Additionally, characters can equip Cloaks, Shields, and Jewellry which afford them even more protection and bonuses.
Armour can be equipped in the following areas: Chest, Feet, Hands, Head, Legs, and Shoulders.
