[edit] Definition

A Friends and Family Kinship is determined not by virtue of any particular style of game play it encourages or requires, but rather the means by which it aquires the majority of its members.

A Friends and Family Kinship never openly recruits from the general player population. New members are almost always recruited from the real life friends and families of existing members.

Friends and Family Kinships may occasionally admit new (non friend/family) members through the sponsorship of an existing member, based on relationships developed in the game. However, they do not accept applications for membership from unknown players.

[edit] Note to Editors

Most Kinships have, within their membership, those who are real life friends or family of other members. This does not make them Friends and Family Kinships. If your Kinship holds open recruitment drives, or solicits or entertains applications, from the general player population in any manner, at any time, it should not be categorized as a Friends and Family Kinship.
