Definition

A Role Playing Kinship's primary requirement is that all members participate in Role Play activities to some extent.

Some Role Playing Kinships may have very strict requirements concerning how their members must remain "in character" at all times, while others may be a bit more flexible, but they all demand that members engage in Role Play at least some of the time.

Role Playing Kinship members, individually or as a group, may participate in Questing, PvMP, Raids, and/or Crafting, but their primary focus will be on developing the "persona" of their Characters for Role Playing purposes, and they are often not expected to meet any other game play requirements.

Role Playing Kinships may also have certain membership restrictions with regard to age, character race, or other considerations.

Note to Editors

Kinships that simply promote and/or encourage Role Playing, but do not require members to participate, should not be categorized as Role Playing Kinships. Such Kinships should be placed in the Role Play Light category.
