We all realize how easy it is to be swamped with quests, particularly in a fellowship. Consider a group going into Dol Dinen. Even though Book 11 made it easier to see who is sharing the same quests in a group, you can still find yourself in a group going into Dol Dinen where half the group has the higher quests - like SiegeMaster and Master of the Black Tide - while the rest of the group needs to complete Weakening the Tide and Orcs of the Blood Mountain.

The charts on this page can help you in this situation. They are simple one-page images that show all of the quest chains in various areas. Nothing fancy, just the quest names and their levels.

Note that only the quests that are parts of the chains are included. There are many other quests in each area that are not included in the charts, such as the reputation quests, crafting and class quests, vector quests ("go from A to B") and singleton quests.

Mines of Moria

The following table gives the quest chains for the Mines of Moria expansion. Moria presents some special difficulties, because there are 4 quest zones. Because of the way that quest chains meander through these zones, the only way to represent them was on a single page. However, in order to let MediaWiki create the thumbnail without choking, I have split off the quest chains in Moria that have been defined in the Lorebook but are not yet active - all of the dwarf-lamp chains.

You may identify which quest zone any given quest is in by using the following legend: (CH) = Central Halls; (LD) = Lower Deeps; (UL) = Upper Levels. Moria quests (most of which are actually in Lothlorien) have no designation added.
