Class: Rune-keeper

  • Class Difficulty: Moderate
  • Role: Damage / Healer
  • Gameplay: Rune-keepers must choose during each battle to focus on damaging skills or healing skills. Either choice will shift their Attunement, unlocking more potent skills, but restricting access to others. In addition, they have support skills that may always be used. In fellowships, a Rune-keeper keeps allies healed or deals significant damage to the foes.
  • Lore: Rune-keepers are gifted linguists and masters of true names. With this knowledge, a Rune-keeper crafts powerful rune-words that help the Free Peoples. Through unparalleled mastery of Angerthas and Tengwar runes, a Rune-keeper evokes much more than a normal scribe. Dagor runes deal with battle, Nestad with healing, and Thalas with support.

    This class is inspired by the master Elf-smith Celebrimbor, whose skill with runes of power was unparalleled.

Conflagration of Runes Class The afterburn of Fiery Ridicule deals 10% additional damage for each Wrath of Flame effect burning on your foes. Further, Fiery Ridicule now affects up to three foes. 45
Confounding Principles Class Increases your abilities to hinder your foes. 45
Fellowships Narrative Class Epic for the Ages will also heal your whole fellowship for a lesser amount. This healing will increase by 10% for every tier of Writ of Health on the main target on Epic for the Ages. 45
Frost-burn Class Using Writ of Cold will reduce the active cooldown of Scathing Mockery by 3 seconds. Cooldown of Writ of Cold is also decreased. 45
Harsh Debate Class Ceaseless Argument has a 15% chance to put the Harsh Debate buff on yourself, which increases tactical damage by 15%. Lasts 20 seconds. 45
Icy Discourse Class Chilling Rhetoric applies the Charged buff to you. The Charged buff is consumed to make your next Sustaining Bolt free, or Essence of Storm deal +50% on a critical hit. 45
Linnod of Flame Class Your focus on Flame spreads destruction across your foes. 45
Linnod of Peace Class Your dedication to the peaceful arts of healing make you harder to harm and recover more quickly from wounds. 45
Martial Training Legendary Though it is rare, some Rune-keepers hone their martial talents far beyond the skills of their peers. 101 25
Master of Allusion Class Your foes do not grasp what you are doing until it is too late. Each use of a Words of Grace skill puts a stack of Master of Allusion on you. At 5 stacks, your next writ is instant cast and costs no Power. 45
Master of Connotation Class Your study of connotation in literature allows you to clarify the doom you intend for your foes. Each use of a Wrath of Flame skill puts a stack of Master of Connotation on you. At five stacks, your next writ is instant cast and heals you. 45
Master of Tragedy Class Your study of the works of tragedy allows you to focus on such linguistic elements when using your skills. Each use of a Fury of Storm skill puts a stack of Master of Tragedy on you. At five stacks, your next writ is instant cast and has no cooldown. 45
Memorable Prose Class Mending Verse will increase Physical and Tactical Mastery of its target for 15 seconds and has its Power Cost reduced by 10%. 45
Mystifying Flame Legendary Your Distracting Flame now mystifies your foes, drawing their attention almost fully from you. Damage is increased, cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds and foes suffer from reduced Tactical resistance. Your fire damage also increases. 101 25
Overflowing Confidence Class Self-motivation now puts the Motivated buff on you for 20s, reducing all skill costs by 20%. Additionally, it will heal you. 45
Perfect Imagery Legendary Your descriptive runes have been honed to perfection. Vivid Imagery now increases your critical hit chance of all Fury of Storm skills by 30% for 15 seconds. It also dazes 5 seconds longer, deals more damage and recovers 2 minutes faster. Your lightning damage also increases. 101 25
Rune of Endurance Class Allies being healed by Rune of Restoration gain 30% more healing from your Rousing Words. Rune of Restoration also gains 30% more health. 45
Scathing Retort Class Smouldering Wrath applies additional effects based on other Wrath of Flame skills active on your foe. Cooldown is also reduced. 45
Steady Hands Legendary A careful Rune-keeper can quickly steady himself in even the more troubled of times. 101 25
Tale of Rage Class Wrath of Flame skills will put the Inflamed Runes buff on you for 10 seconds, which can stack up to five times. Each buff increases fire damage by 3%. 45
Tale of the Storm Class Fury of Storm skills will apply the Charged Runes buff 15% of the time. This will increase the critical hit chance of Fury of Storm skills by 10% for 10s. 45

The Prophetic Word Class All Visions and Foretelling skills recover 20% faster, and your defeat removal skills will return your allies with more health and power. 45
Thunderous Words Class Scribe's Spark has a 15% chance to put the Thunderous Words buff on yourself, which increases your Finesse. Lasts 20 seconds. 45
Winter-storm Class Each Chill of Winter skill will put a stack of Winter-storm on you. At 5 stacks, your next Fury of Storm skill will automatically critically hit. Also reduces the costs of Chill of Winter skills. 45
Wondrous Foreshadowing Legendary Your foresight is greater than ever. Glorious Foreshadowing becomes Wondrous Foreshadowing. Its cooldown is reduced to a minute, increases healing by 50% and reduces the damage your ally takes by 40%. Your healing ability also increases. 101 25
Writ of Blazing Fire Class Writ of Fire will now tier down instead of dispelling when its duration ends. Cooldown is also decreased. 45
Writ of Well-being Class Writ of Health will now tier down instead of dispelling when its duration ends. Cooldown is also decreased. 45
