About Us
Dorothey and Hotshott are a young married couple residing in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, USA. They have been on MMORPGs together for over 4 years, and separately for many years before that. They have much experience with guilds/kinships, and have served as officers in several, one of which was in LOTRO. They serve as a dynamic team, concentrating their efforts to bring as much enjoyment to theirs and their kin mates LOTRO gaming experience as they can. We are an exciting new kinship on the Landroval server of the Lord of the Rings Online. Our kin name, “Defying Gravity,” comes from a popular broadway show in which it was a song title. We are here to bring like-minded folks together for fellowship, fun and camaraderie. There are no level/class/playtime requirements, and you are not required to bring anything to the kinship. All that we expect are people who are kind and considerate, and who show and receive respect to fellow kinmates. We welcome all kinds of interests, those reaching both outside of the Tolkein universe and also further within. We respect everyone’s right to enjoy the game however they see fit, including pop culture, music playing, games and fun, role-playing, questing, exploring and even end-game when we have enough members for it! “So if you care to find me, look to the western sky.
