We are a family, the tall the short the round and the thin. My kinmates comes first, unless i'm a hobbit in line to eat, Dwarves will not be tossed except by a troll, and only because they are attempting to stub said trolls toe, If someone asks for help in the woods I will be there, Real life comes first, Kin life is behind that, followed closely by bathroom breaks, Nothing can stand before us indefinitely, like the sand blowing on rock we will wear it away, like the ocean on the cliff we will erode it, and like the sun we will burn away any darkness before us.

About DIAS
Well Met!
Founded by Fandieran Foxfire in 2007, Desponte Illuminate Avante Set kin can be found in Arkenstone. DIAS expects family bonds and comradery amongst all of our members. We are not a die hard raiding kinship looking to be the first to take down the new boss. We do however conduct plenty of raids, but do not stress its importance. We play to destress, and enjoy ourselves. We are also not a kinship that associates with unsavory characters (stealing ore or dealing with others in an unworthy manner).
Our leader is the grumbling dwarf Broonor Battleaxe, Guardian of Arkenstone, may his beard never fall out!
Members
We have many members with varying levels of playtime and timezones; from Pacific to Eastern timezones in the US and Canada, and some players in Australia. All classes are welcome and encouraged to inquire about membership! Simply visit our website and submit an application! We use a Ventrilo chat server, but everyone is free to use Ventrilo at anytime for questing, chatting, etc!
Recruitment
With the release of The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria we are recruiting adventurers to join us in Conquering the World Beneath.
If you are interested in joining us as we explore and conquer the mighty halls of Durin's Folk and reclaim them from the vile Orcs and Evils that now inhabit them, please contact an Officer in game or stop by our website forums!

Lifespan
At present, we are Lifespan Rank 10 and enjoy the benefits of Kinship Chat, Message of the Day, Kinship Titles, Officer Chat, Kinship House, Kinship Mail, and Kinship Auction. Currently, this is the highest Kinship rank achievable.
Mission
Our goal is to have fun and enjoy the game. If'in we happen to be among the best, then that is tribute to the great members and officers within the kin. We strive to achieve this by recruiting fun-loving members who enjoy playing the game and adventuring to the darkest corners of Middle-earth and back again. We also want to become known for fun events where people may find a place to have a bit of RP or just plain fun.

PVE Progess
Currently, DIAS has been all over and been seen all dungeons presently available in Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.
This includes: The Rift, Helegrod, Annuminas, Barad Gularan, Carn Dum, and other smaller dungeons. You can usually find a group going into one of these places every week.
With the release of The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria on November 18, 2008, we have begun to delve into the World Beneath. We are currently open to new recruits to join us in adventuring across the mighty halls of Durin's Folk.
Mergers
Over time, we have come across other great kinships, and due to one reason or another, they chose to join in with ourselves. Kings of Arda was fully welcomed in, and some other kins had disputes, and we took in those that desired to join from Transcendence, and Gaurdians of Gondor. We have had some roaming folk who join us after some fellowships and quests with us. So we have over time, had 3 mergers, and continue to uphold our standards of comradery.

Kinship Lore
Desponte Illuminate Avante Set is loosely translated to mean, "An Irrepressible Light, and those that protect it."
This is in partial reference to when the Fellowship left the beautiful forest of Lothlorien, and Lady Galadriel gave them each gifts to assist them on their journey.
And you, Ring-bearer,' she said, turning to Frodo. 'I come to you last who are not last in my thoughts. For you I have prepared this.' She held up a small crystal phial: it glittered as she moved it, and rays of white light sprang from her hand.
