Joining the Metalsmith's Guild

To join the Metalsmith's guild, you must first be a Armourer. Only those that have been trained as an Expert in the Metalsmith profession will even be considered for acceptance. Speak to any Crafting Guild Trainer, located in some of the crafting areas throughout Eriador. They will direct you to speak with Hávar, who can tell you more about the guild.

Gaining Reputation with the Metalsmith's Guild

After speaking with Hávar, you will need to speak with Reifnir, who will instruct you in the recipes that will raise your reputation with the Guild.

In addition, those that are welcomed as Kindred to the guild will learn the secrets to creating truly legendary weapons for Captains and Guardians to use in their travels throughout Middle-earth.

Legendary Relic Slot

In addition to the various Legendary Items that a Metalsmith may craft, they may also make tokens with which to trade for sealed symbols to be slotted in the fourth socket on these items. You must be of Kindred status in order to make these recipes.

Crafted Legendary Items

Many Legendary Weapons may be crafted through purchasing recipes from Grímnir in the Guild Hall. All of these recipes are Supreme Tier and require Kindred status.
