About Kinship

The Green Company is a kinship of Rangers, with various skills that act as a splinter group of The Grey Company. Known as Watchers or simply Rangers, they are the last remnant of the Dúnedain who had once populated the Northern-kingdom of Arnor. Ambassadors of the other free peoples of Middle-Earth also lend their aid and are able to join the ranks of The Green Company.

Orders have been passed down recently to Halbarad, reading that Borrhavan is to be reinstated as Captain of The Green Company and reform it's ranks. The reformation was due to the previous Captain of the company who had led several questionable skirmishes during the war thus far. Characteristically elusive and enigmatic, the Rangers spend most of their lives in the wild, visting towns and villages only on rare occasions.

The Rangers are led by Aragorn who can trace his lines back to Isildur himself and his father Elendil. Though Aragorn is the figure of authority for the Rangers, the scattered people have no official headquarters or capitol after the disintegration of Arnor.

We are strongly against individualists, elitists, or those claiming that being bluntly rude is somehow considered mature. Using vulgar or obscene language does not denote intelligence. Naturally curse words can slip, but that is a different matter. We are here to have fun and to help our kinship grow, not deal with drama.

A. The Green Company are a family-friendly group of individuals who come together to enjoy all aspects of the game. From Role play to Crafting to Monster Play and Quests/Raid, we enjoy making our members experience in Middle Earth as memorable & fun as possible.

Recruitment

Requirements for membership in The Green Company are simple.

• We are considered a mature kinship and as such we require that applicants keep that in mind when it comes to what they say/do in-game. 
  
  
• The Green Company is a Moderate-Heavy Roleplay Kinship. An attempt must be made by Applicants to have lore appropriate, pronouncable character names that are in keeping with the spirit of the game.
  
  
• We are a family-friendly kinship. Any instances of harassment, insulting behavior/speech, or general obnoxious behavior towards other members; Officers or Allies of the Kinship will be dealt with immediately. Minor infractions will grant a warning. Subsequent or major infractions will result in removal from the kinship. In other words, be respectful to others just as you expect them to be towards you.
  
  
• Applicants to the Kinship must have an active account on the Kinship forums and must visit the forums regularly to stay updated. Announcement of Kinship Meetings, In-Game Events, and other items will be made on the forums and members will be required to keep current of these.
  
  
• Applicants must be at least level 6. An applicant will never be coerced to increase their level. Levelling is at a pace set by the Character and not the Kinship.

He will be able to answer your questions. If you should wish to apply, then use the applications section at the top of the kinship website there as well as registering on the site.

Once you have applied, you will receive notification from Borrhavan as to your acceptance or rejection. Should you be accepted, the next time he or an officer is online in-game, you will be invited to join the kinship. 

Acceptance into the kinship will grant Recruit Status until your character has proven to be active within the kinship for four weeks resulting in full membership status.
