Back in Time for Elevenses

If you're a Hobbit or a Hobbit-friend that aspires to Hobbitdom, and you're one of the merriest, drunkest, most shoelessest people you know, then you belong in Back in Time for Elevenses (BiTE)!

We welcome all races in BiTE, vertically unfortunate though our non-Hobbit brethren may be. As long as you play to have a good time, enjoy the story, scenery, sounds, and of course the Shire, you'll fit right in(enjoyment of other things beginning with 's' bonus).

While merrymaking, socializing, and not wearing shoes are all major facets of BiTE, they're certainly not all we're about. We enjoy questing, crafting, skirmishing, raiding, exploring, and plenty of other types of adventuring as well.

We ask that you be mature in your conversations and treat other members with respect.

Additional Kinship Info

All the things you needed to know and more. Unless you need to know more than is here, in which case I suppose this isn't more than you needed to know, now is it. If that's the case, you can always contact Tanar in-game.

More Ramblings on Gameplay Profile

As previously mentioned, the primary purpose of BiTE is merrymaking, which isn't an option in the gameplay profile or it would receive 7 stars.  What we mean when we say merrymaking is basically anything that makes the kin enjoy their playtime the most.

Since every person is different, this means we expect to cater to a diverse array of means of merrymaking. We realize that one of the surest ways to pout about is to be herded into doing something that doesn't suit you, so we never want our members to feel compelled to skip to our lou, and would much rather everyone walk to the beat of their own drum.

That being said, the point of a kin is to unite under one banner, and for us that's the banner of enjoyment. We may all have different preferences but we're all here because we just plain enjoy the game, and maybe like to act a bit silly. Enjoyment of the game would seem to entail dabbling in a bit of everything some of the time, and a lot of some things most of the time. This combination should make possible the gathering of fellows to do just about anything. Unless of course it intersects one of the seven most important meals of the day!

Events

Raids and the like may be organized as events, it all depends on the desires of the kin in any given week to run certain content. Make yourself heard and don't be afraid to organize within the Kin even if you aren't a Shiner.

Crafting

We're all charitable, fun-loving folk. We'd ask that no one in the kin charge a kinmate more than the cost of materials and repairs, and that those more well to do look out for those in need. You get what you give, so give generously.

The possibility of a pool of crafting resources for the kin is a viable enterprise. If there is to be such a thing, it will be strictly voluntary in the effort to expedite crafting for kinmates, so that they may be sober for as short a time as possible.
