About The Tower Guard of Gondor

The Order of the Tower Guard is a casual End-Game and Lore focused Kinship, established on October 16, 2007. The Order is exceptional because of its member-base; Order members meet at a highest common denominator, and are renowned for excellence, charity, and honour. Our ranks are drawn from tight bonds and internal reference, and we avoid open recruitment.

The Order defies standard categorization; it is neither a "Raiding" nor an "RP" Kinship. Many members have a long-time interest in Tolkien's works and the context of the Lore, while other long-time members have never read the books. Members have the resource of a well-developed Kinship-lore with a sizable body of contributed writings, an active, mature, and respectful member-body, and a well-tuned raiding corps that actively pursues the most challenging of end-game content, with over 200 recorded raids as of Summer 2011. Kinship-chat is OOC; members are held to the standard and expectations of the Order Charter.

Our Kinship enjoys constant activity, and core-leadership which drives members to aspire to the greatest challenges. We do all we can to make all of the best resources available to our members.

At the core, the Order strives to nurture a helpful, fun, challenging, and welcoming environment, catering to all gameplay styles and paces, by bringing Middle Earth's finest folks together to enjoy the realm of Tolkien.
