About The Kinship

We are noobs. We are comprised mostly of couples, parents, families. Our members frequently have to go AFK to tuck the kids into bed, change the laundry over, cook dinner, put out fires, and otherwise deal with real life.

We're very far from being elite. If you listen carefully you can often hear our warcries "Oooo, what's in there?" or "Think we can take him?" Please stick around if you're able to provide a rez.

We do sometimes stumble on like-minded folks. They're usually defeated at the bottom of very high cliffs, wandering about aimlessly looking for quest objectives from another region, or wildly running away from a monster and towards a whole group of its friends.

We specialize in:

• Being eaten by various critters
• Repeated failed attempts at quests (we never seem to realize the futility in trying certain things)
• Providing easy Infamy to Creeps
• Walking mindlessly off of cliffs while on auto-follow
• Proving that noobs can make it to level cap

Our general lack of talent, time, knowledge, and equipment notwithstanding, we are a group of friendly folks united around the concept of promoting positive gameplay practices and techniques. We're just as happy doing Chicken Play or Freeze Tag together as we are doing Epic Book quests and instances.

If you are geared up, a great player, know the game inside and out, or seek to conquer the toughest battles the game has to offer, you will just laugh at us hysterically and maybe break the record for pressing the Quit button on the kinship tab.

If you are a loner, soloed your way through, have a hard time staying in Fellowships because you are frequently AFK, have been booted from kinships for missing a week straight, have no illusions of being elite, detest drama, and value positive gameplay techniques... we bet you watch bad 'B' movies so you don't feel bad about missing the plot after getting up repeatedly.

By the way, if you happen to see a Pie Lovers Society member just standing there getting beat on, take a minute and kill the critter; they're AFK and will have no idea what happened to them.

We ARE

• Foremost a social kinship that isn't focused on any particular aspect of the game
• Distracted by pie, shiny things on the ground, and unexplored areas
• Noobish, casual, s l o w leveling players
• Fascinated by high cliffs, bridges, deep chasms and other structures that compel us to jump off of them
• Usually lost; could you point us in the right direction please?
• A group of players that practices positive gameplay, a philosophy pioneered by the WoW guild Lemming Juice (Earthen Ring)

We Are NOT

• Elite; in fact we're so far from elite that it's laughable (seriously, watch us fight monsters... you'll giggle lots I promise)
• Raiders; unless there's pie involved, what's the big deal?
• A charitable institution waiting to hand out silver, items, and quest/instance runs
• For people who don't like being around other people
• Into negativity, drama, etc.
