About the Companions of Erebor

The Companions of Erebor is a casual kinship based around role playing. While role playing is not a requirement of the members it is preferred. The primary goal of the kinship is to offer members friends and help with various tasks such as quests, crafting, or leveling. Our aim is to have fun and enjoy every aspect of the game, whether it be a raid, PvMP, role play, questing, or simply hanging out in a Tavern!

History

The Companions of Erebor began in the Third Age 3018. It's founding members, a Captain of Dale, Svala, and the Dwarf warrior, Sviorr, of the Lonely Mountain began their journey westward as an errand from their lords. The Wainriders and Easterlings were afoot again and as things began to look grim in the East both Svala and Sviorr were to go west, over the Misty Mountains, to see what news was to be heard and lend what aid that they may, in hope that such aid may be repaid to their lands. Svala and Sviorr formed their companionship as they set out together on their errand. After a brief stay in Imladris the companions ventured further west, trekking into and beyond the Lone-Lands, Bree-Land, and the Shire. Their journey would bring them to the Blue Mountains, Ered Luin. Here they would rest in Thorin's Hall, this great Dwarf dwelling becoming their temporary home. From Ered Luin the companions set out, at times together and at times heading their own way, giving what help they can and taking it in turn. During this time many friends and new companions were made - thus the Companions of Erebor were no longer simply of Erebor, but rather Companions of Middle Earth.

Svala

Svala hails from the realm of Northmen known as Dale and is a Captain of that land. She was sent on an errand to go west in the company of Sviorr. Accompanying her west is her shieldmaiden, Beornwyn.

Sviorr

Sviorr hails from the Lonely Mountain, having been sent to the Dwarf halls of the Blue Mountains to give and seek what aid may be found.
