About Us

The Knights of Middle Earth is a kinship with a variety of different types of players from different places who's goal is to cooperate and have fun. We are a rank 10 kinship that's been around since a long time ago.

Our members are mature and friendly players who's goal is to have fun and get the most they can from the LOTRO world together. Members vary in location and play time so we can be found active during most hours of the day or night. We range from very active to more laid back players. Casual and very dedicated players combine to make a great atmosphere to have fun and enjoy success on any challenge given in the game. We are Knights.

Kinship Chat

• Kinship Chat is to be kept respectful at all times. Even though there is an adult language room in ventrilo, please give each other some common courtesy. We are adults and know how to handle ourselves.

Behavior

• It is expected that all members of the kinship treat each other with respect.
• Other kinship Members. If you need help with item trading or other dealings in the kin, feel free to ask an Officer for assistance.
• Cooperation is something we pride ourselves on. We wish this tradition to continue. It is not expected higher level characters give up too much time to help out the lower level characters, however, help is always appreciated and reciprocated.
• Allies and friends are to be given full support if they need it and ask for it.
• Members of other kinships and of the community of Lord of the Rings Online should be given full respect. Remember, everything a member does plays a role in how people judge our kinship.

Partying Raids & Instances

• We do use a DKP System in all 12 man raids and higher.
• Loot rules should be established before the group gets involved. Examples of Looting Systems are: Need before Greed, Roll on Bind on Acquire, Pass on Bind on Acquire, etc.

Disputes and Arguments

• We are all human and to disagree with each other is human nature. All arguments should be handled discretely.
• If a problem can not be resolved, please bring it to the attention of one of the officers.
• Remember this is a game and having fun is the number one reason to play.
