Frerin's Court

Frerin's Court lies at the gateway between Thorin's Hall and the southern Blue Mountains. At the base of the valley, the court has excellent views of Thorin's Gates and the great statue of Thorin carved into the mountain. There is a reflecting pool in Frerin's Court. A road to the east goes up a nearby slope to the ruined Refuge of Edhelion before continuing further north. Just north of Edhelion is Skorgrím's Tomb, shortly after which the road is barred.
As the passage to Thorin's Gates, there is a stable a short way to the west. Hunters using Guide to Thorin's Hall and Dwarves using Return to Thorin's Gate end up in Frerin's Court.
