Elven-folk

The people of the Quendi

An occasional term used as a simple poetic equivalent of 'Elves'. It seems to have been used especially by the Mortal races (at least, no Elf ever refers to themselves as belonging to the 'Elven-folk'). The term also occasionally appears spelt as 'Elvenfolk', with identical meaning.
