In the ever-turbulent battle to secure the Ettenmoors, fortresses fall and change hands with every day. When the armies of the Iron Crown control the island keep of Tol Ascarnen, Apsduf takes the role of quartermaster, gathering and maintaining the provisions and supplies for the army of Angmar and preparing the fortress for defence against the attacks of the Free Peoples.
Quartermaster Apsduf is fiercely loyal to the tyrant Trintrû, the commander of the forces at Tol Ascarnen. He makes sure the choicest cuts of Man-flesh and hobbit-meat go to Trintrû’s larders, and woe betide any Orc who tries to sneak a taste!
Apsduf is one of several quest bestowers for monster players in the Ettenmoors. Most of his quests are themed around gathering provisions for Tol Ascarnen. Free Peoples players can try to hinder their opponents by slaying Apsduf.
