61 Arch-nemesis (Melee)The Isendeep Mines are an oft-contested location in the war between Angmar and the Free Peoples of Eriador. Located in Arador’s End, where the grandfather of Aragorn perished at the hands of wild Hill-trolls, the Isendeep is a major source of ore for the warring armies.
When the Iron Crown controls the mines, a vicious Troll named Bûrzgoth oversees the operations of Isendeep. Bûrzgoth hails from the caverns of Goblin-town, where the goblins and Orcs now rend the earth where dwarves once mined. Under his destructive rule, the armies of the Iron Crown tear into the Mountains of Angmar, ripping out any ore they find.
In The Lord of the Rings Online, Free Peoples players seek to defeat the tyrant Bûrzgoth in order to secure the Isendeep for themselves, while monster players endeavor to protect him as they defend the mines.
