Tirith Rhaw lies deep in the heart of Free Peoples territory in the Ettenmoors, yet it remains an oft-contested keep. Despite the efforts of the Free Peoples army and the brave Morningthaw Wardens, forces from Angmar led by the tyrannical Orc Barashish frequently take the fortress for a short time.

Barashish is hated, feared, and revered by his minions, having the favor of Ak�lhun and the Iron Crown. They will readily lay down their lives to protect their vile commander, knowing that if he fell, so too would Tirith Rhaw.

In The Lord of the Rings Online, Barashish is both the target of the Free Peoples� efforts to take Tirith Rhaw and the focal point of monster players� defence of the fortress.
