To assault the tower of the Necromancer without the wisdom and guidance of a learned one would be madness, hence the reason the lore-master Agorin was sent with the Golden Host. Agorin remembers the days when the bleak Mirkwood was once Greenwood the Great, one of the greatest Elf-realms east of the Misty Mountains. Armed with this knowledge, Agorin can help the Malledhrim secure the wood for her people.
Not only is she a wise and knowledgeable lore-master, she is also a powerful healer, trained in the arts of herb-use in Lothl�rien. The wounded are brought to her for healing before either being returned to their duties or sent back to Lothl�rien for further rest and healing.
Agorin is one of several NPCs in The Lord of the Rings Online™: Siege of Mirkwood™ who play a major role in the efforts of the Malledhrim. Players will encounter her both in the Mirkwood Landing instance zone and at Ost Galadh in Emyn L�m, as the Golden Host presses deeper into Southern Mirkwood.
