NPC:Cachúnir

Cachúnir is a High Elf who dwells in the House of Elrond in Rivendell. With the coming of the Shadow, he has felt the desire to leave the darkness behind and sail into the West but hesitates to do so. He fears that once his kindred have passed out of Middle-earth, much of the history and lore of that world will be lost with them. Thus Cachúnir has initiated efforts to gather as much lore as possible at Rivendell so that the days of old will not be forgotten, even when the Elves have all left the shores of Middle-earth.
Cachúnir was created by the designers of The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™ as one of several NPCs supporting the Reputation system, representing the Elves of Rivendell faction. Scholars interested in increasing their reputation with this faction would do well to visit him.
