The Suuri-lehm� rely much upon their scouts to warn them of approaching danger, especially with the Orcs of Angmar now marching south through the Ram D�ath. One of these scouts, whose name is not mentioned in their tales, came upon a dark and dangerous threat lingering in the Ram D�ath: the Merrevail.
Frightened by the bloodlusting bat-women, the scout enlisted the aid of any friendly strangers that happened through the pass, hoping to destroy, or at least dissuade, the encroaching evil. Despite his fear, he remains vigilant over the pass in case the Merrevail press forward.
In The Lord of the Rings Online�, the Earth-kin Scout appears in two quests revolving around the dreaded Merrevail, awaiting the aid of wandering adventurers.
