Farmer Sandson has a respectable farm in the Delving-fields between Michel Delving and Waymeet. While he tends a few modest fields, his pride and joy are his chickens, especially his prize hen Billina, and the chief rooster George. Eggs from Sandson’s farm are famous throughout the Shire and prized by all the best cooks.
A recent injury has forced Farmer Sandson to rely on others to make his deliveries for him, and the inhabitants of his coops have also become anxious and disquieted, causing him some concern. Players can assume the role of a chicken and help investigate these matters through LOTRO’s session play system. Journey to Sandson’s farm to experience Middle-earth from a chicken’s point of view!
Farmer Sandson is a character created by Turbine for The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar. While he does not appear in the lore, he is typical of hobbits as they appear in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
