- Deserters
After the initial assault of the Malledhrim upon the shores of the Mirk-eaves, the front lines of the Orcs were practically decimated, allowing the Elves to establish a foothold in Southern Mirkwood. As the main host pressed on, the meagre forces remaining in the Mirk-eaves began to notice an increased presence of goblin-scouts spying on their forces.
The Elf Mothelen took a small party of Elves into the Dourstocks in an attempt to track down the source of the scouts and stumbled upon the nearly abandoned encampment of [[Landmark:Burg�l-stazg|Burg�l-stazg]]. There were few signs of battle � nothing that would explain why the camp was deserted � but Mothelen and his scouts did come across many goblins who had deserted Burg�l-stazg. Concerned by the terror exhibited by the creatures � a terror not of the Elves, but of something unknown � Mothelen seeks to learn the secret of the goblin-camp.
Players of The Lord of the Rings Online™ will aid Mothelen and his companions as they seek to unravel the mystery of Burg�l-stazg and the terrors which surround the Dourstocks.
