You have been encouraged to learn the hidden tracks and paths of Eregion so that you may travel there more quickly.

'Rumours and whispers say that much is happening in the south, (your name). If what I have heard is true, the Enemy stretches forth his hand and may soon threaten all of Eriador. You would be wise to learn how to travel quickly to southern lands in Eriador, such as Eregion.

'If you wish to do this, travel to Echad Dúnann and speak to an Elf named Tinúriel. I have heard she has explored much of that land and could help you learn Eregion's hidden tracks and paths so that you may travel there more quickly.'

Description
The Elves of the Golden Host seek a way to cripple the Orcs of Durbúrz-stazg.

'Hail, (your name)! Falasgon was right to send you to me. The Orcs of Dol Guldur mustering in the Mirk-eaves were well nigh destroyed, but a few survived and have holed up in the ruins of their encampments, attempting to regroup against us.

'One such encampment is Durbúrz-stazg, which lies just to the north of Echad Sirion. While the encampment was severely damaged in our first assault, it may still only be entered through two gateways.

'Go north and find the gateways into Durbúrz-stazg and determine which one is the least heavily guarded; it is upon that gate that we shall lean our assault.'
