Description: Regin is unable to make sense of the runes in the mining records you found. Strangely enough, they appear to be written in an Elvish script.

'I can't ken these runes at all! Why, unless I miss my mark entirely, I think these are some kind of Elf-writing.
'Now, how could directions to a Dwarf-mine have ever been written in some Elvish script? Well, I'm sure I don't understand this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to find an Elf lore-master to riddle these records for us.
'I believe there are Elves living at Lin Giliath, some distance to the south of here, in a region of lakes and bogs called Meluinen in the Elf tongue. There is an Elf there called Gandelin who may be able to read these records.'
