Mundgeirr (NPC)'If you are seeking to enhance the abilities of your weapon, there is one place where you are sure to lay the foundation for such a quality. There is an old mithril mine, played-out long ago, but within it was a fine forge with mighty spells laid upon it for the smelting of mithril ore!
'Of course, now the Orcs have it and have set their own goblin brethren to work as slaves trying to eke out a few last sorry bits of the poorest quality ore. I doubt they know anything about the forge itself -- or care in the least -- but you will have to fight your way through them if you want to make use of it.
'Before you dare the mine, however, you should bring me an infused garnet. Only with such a stone will you succeed in enhancing your weapon. I do not know where to find such stone, however.'

A Quick Guide...
Alright, just a quick guide or a few words of note on this actually easy quest.
I first tried it when I reached Level 55. I was a little unsure at first, but I decided to give it a go.
Basically, Take your time and don't rush. Watch the patrol patterns of the guards and overseers and such. Deal with small groups at a time.
Patience truly pays off in this dungeon.
The rest, as they say, is history.

PS. You can always run out if you accidentally aggro too many mobs...better safe than sorry. Also doesn't hurt on the wallet too this way.
