Lindir has found a new riddle for you to solve. Again, he is sure the answer can be found somewhere in Imladris.
Bestower
'While you were gone, Lindir told me he has come up with something interesting for our game. Apparently, he found a new riddle on the back of some old parchment out of Gondor.'
Objectives
Objective 1:
Lindir is with Bilbo in the Hall of Fire at Rivendell.

Lindir has a new riddle to offer.
• Talk to Lindir
Objective 2:
The answer to Lindir's riddle can be found somewhere in Rivendell.

Lindir has asked you to find an item that provides an answer to his riddle.


Breath is needed
Warning heeded
Some will arrive
With sword and knife
My work is completed
'Til once more I'm needed.
• Talk to Boromir
Objective 3:
Lindir is with Bilbo in the Hall of Fire at Rivendell.

Boromir has given you a token that provides the answer to Lindir's Gondorian riddle.
• Talk to Lindir
• Turn in Boromir's Badge

SPOILER: Boromir will give you his badge. He used to patrol the gateway leaving Rivendel Valley to Misty Mountains but he is now in the Guesthouse.

  3. Back to Bilbo Baggins (NPC), to get quest The Riddle-Maker
  4. The Broom
  5. Questgiver for The Riddle-Finder: Lindir (NPC)
  6. The badge (Talk to Boromir (NPC))
  7. Talk to Bilbo Baggins (NPC) to get Quest: The Riddle-Seeker -> After that talk to Elrond (NPC) in Library
  8. Talk to Glorfindel (NPC) to get the Quest: The Riddle-Master
  9. Goto Vault of Arwen's Legacy and get Arwen's Legacy
  10. Give Arwen's Legacy to Glorfindel (NPC)
