Ölfun (NPC)'Have you heard the reports from the Rotting Cellar? There is a strange fungus growing in the waters there and infecting the Orcs. We do not know where it has come from, what exactly it does, or how to stop it.
'I have my own beliefs on the matter, however. We have not seen any of this fungus here in the Flaming Deeps, so I believe it is too hot here for it to survive. But, the combination of the heat from here and the dampness of the Water-works creates an environment this fungus thrives in. Deep-worms run thick just before you come to those flooded depths. The heat they produce is surely the source of the fungus in the Water-works.
'The worms are at a place we call Tanunshush. Head westward until you reach The Burning Stair, just before the Water-works. Tanunshush is just north of there. Defeat several of the worms to help cool down the flooded depths.'
