Skirmish Compendium

Note: This page is based on the excellent post of the same title by Maestro.

To get started, check out this great guide by Arbalister: Arbalisters Guide to Skirmishing or an excellent post by Galuhad in the European forums with screenshots! An Introduction to Skirmishes

Galuhad has also put together a great resource to show the skirmish mark cost of ranking up your soldier at level 65 called Galuhad's Guide to Soldier Costs

The Ranks for all of the roles and skills progresses to 25. The level on each Rank is not a minimum required level, but rather the approximate level of the role or skill compared to your character. I moved the tutorial quest rewards to the top of the list, so that you could see what skills the instructions actually give you to get started with a given soldier role.

Also, you can head to your housing instance and there is a skirmish trainer and skirmish captain in the center of town. You can call your soldier to check out new cosmetic changes you have made or show them off to friends.
