- It should be noted that .Net Framework 3.5 is required to install this, and I was required to reformat my flashdrive to NTFS for this to work. Not a major issue, but it would have been nice to have known this beforehand, as well as appropriate links to the required .Net download.

 In which way is FlashBoost superior to just copying the entire LotRO game directory to a fast USB drive and run it from there?

That's what I have been doing with good success on my not so fast notebook.

The only issue I can see is that it wastes some more space on the USB drive, but with the low price of them these days ...
