Great job, I know this will be a guide pick by the devs soon. - Snorii 11:45, 9 November 2009 (EST)
Amazing work. This has to be one of the most well done guides yet. I know it took some serious dedication to do it in a wiki. Awesome. --Malalts 06:35, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Fantastic Work
This is a lot of information in one place - it's really great to see something so thorough. If I may make a suggestion, you may want to consider breaking up the article into a number of included templates, by tier. That way, you can also include the exact same information at the Tailor tier pages here (Category:Tier 1 Recipes: Apprentice Tailor for example). Editing the template would keep both pages synchronized. --AtteSmythe 17:26, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for the suggestion but as this was my first endevor into Wikiland I have no idea how to work with templates :( I got alot of information about tables from the web but I will have to research working with templates. I do love to learn new things though, thanks again. Missy 17:22, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Robes
For at least some of the sets, you have included both the armour and robes stats in the totals, giving an incorrect value.
Dang I was sure I fixed those formulas, maybe it didn't save. Oh well, nice catch - all fixed. Missy
Split into multiple pages?
I can't begin to imagine how many hours probably went into compiling this. However, the bulk of this article appears to be either a (better organized and presented) reproduction of content available in individual item articles, or a summary overview of sets of gear. While all these items are made by tailors, to me, they don't seem to fit within the rest of the "Tailoring Guide."
This page feels like "One page listing everything a tailor could possibly do in the game." I'd like to suggest splitting up the article into 2 or 3 articles. Maybe leave the "guide" portion as is, and create another article listing recipes, and perhaps a third article with the set overviews. As it stands, it's very easy to lose context of where you are in the article while scrolling through it. Fredelas 09:00, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
My intention was to make a "one stop shopping" page for tailors, however I did notice that it was easy to get lost and added in extra tier markers in each section to help. The tiers are also for the most part ordered the same as what's in your Crafting UI.
I find the links in the Table of contents helpful and if you do get disoriented, the "Home" button takes you back to the top.
I added the set summary (as requested by several players) after I did the original guide and it did increase it quite a bit. I did plan on moving the set summary to it's own page in the future to make room for new recipes or even a new tier (hint hint Turbine) but there is no reason I can't do that now, maybe it will help. Thank you very much for your suggestions and feedback. Missy 08:01, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
