The Characters of Middle-earth

Travel through Bree-land is commonly accomplished by one of two methods: on foot or by horse. For those not wealthy enough to own their own horses, Jack Cloverdale in Combe has several for rent. For a modest fee, Mr. Cloverdale will provide a fast mount to accommodate travellers going to Bree-town from the south and east. Many in the area are grateful for his services, which have averted countless blistered feet. Jack Cloverdale, the Stable-master at Combe, is one of many NPCs governing the travel routes in The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™. |

- Crosser of Roads Group Chicken Run
- When: Saturday February 11th, starting PROMPTLY at 10:00AM EST/server time (15:00 GMT)
- Where: Sandson's Farm in the Shire
- Information: Calling all chickens and their protectors - Second Breakfast will be making another attempt on the Crosser of Roads title on Saturday, February 11th. This can take up to 6 hours, and all participating chickens need to commit to the full length of time (breaks will be provided) and must have the Flying the Coop series of quests completed beforehand. Protectors of all classes and levels are very, very welcome, and need not commit to the full day. Click here for more information.

Favourite Fishing Spot
This postcard was taken just as Whiteberry Greenhill reached her favourite fishing spot near Bucklebury Ferry in the Marish on a cold but clear winter day. To the right on the other side of the Brandywine River, you see Brandy Hall and Buckland and on the left in the distance you can just make out the start of the Brandy Hills in Bree-land. Straight ahead I was lucky to catch the rainbow. It is said that there are pies where it ends...
