Opening Statement

The Silent Guard is a mature roleplaying friendly kinship. We consider ourselves moderate roleplaying (med-high). You must be 18 years of age or older to join TSG. Maturity and respect is a must, respect your kinsmen and they will respect you. Any race and class is allowed, unlike some other kinships, we do not restrict the amount of a certain race or class from being accepted.

Monster Play and Roleplaying

TSG has big ideas for PvMP and MPvP, and we are very interested in doing MP. We want to have one day every week where we encourage all of the kin to visit the ettenmoors for an hour. While MP is not required, it is encouraged.

Considering that this is a roleplaying game. TSG encourages roleplaying. We expect that all conversations in /say and /shout be IN CHARACTER. If you wish to speak out of character, either type (ooc) before or use ((sentence here)) With that in mind, kinship chat is not necessarily in character or ooc. It is also strictly enforced that no player is ridiculed for his skill or level of RP.

Alt Policy and Inactivity

We understand that at certain times, you may wish to take a break from your main character and "roll an alt". You may also have a "crafting alt" which is used only for crafting. Both of these are encouraged, and TSG has no limit on the amount of alts you may have. We only ask that you tell us which is your main and which is your alt .

TSG understands that you have a life outside of LOTRO (it may be hard to believe). Therefore, it is understandable if you want to take some time off. All we ask is that you tell us if you know you are going to be inactive for more than a week. All players that are inactive for more than a month (alts excluded) will be removed if no notice has been given.

Communication

We have put alot of time and effort in creating TSG's website and forums, we ask that they are used! Please visit the website (at least) three times a week. You never know when there is more information or a new event.
