Description

Physical Description: Missing his right eye he wear an eye patch but also bears a deep scar over his left side of his face. His left eye is bright blue and is usually the first thing seen when someone meets him for the first time. His overall posture is very intimating and seems always ready for combat at a moment’s notice. Despite his bloodlust appearance he is very fair and whatever he wears, may it be armor or clothing, it is always kept clean.

Personality Description: Not one to speak idle chatter he tends to be quiet letting his sword do most of the talking. When he does talk however he is very polite and speaks well for someone that grew up with bandits. Always calm even when he is being threaten or if he is the one doing the threating. He can come off as being lazy since if a situation occurs where he feels is beneath him he will lose interest or just take a nap while someone else finishes. For those lucky to draw swords with him, his politeness completely changes to resemble a berserker enjoying the moment of combat. However he is not completely out of control and will draw back when he has to.

Accent: Although not loud but when speaking can be clearly heard with a type of pirate vocal tone that somehow sounds well educated.

History

Prior to joining Grace of the Valar as Ispada he was once known as Sithor Aeralph, meaning New Sea Swan King in Sindarin. During his youth he grew up among bandits and raiders in a very violent community environment in Gondor. He became very proficient with swordsmanship while he was there; or at least fighting, and eventually adopting the name Ispada for his usage of swords. On his first raid after his coming of age, Ispada refused to draw his sword on the villagers. Angering his leaders they tried to kill him for disobeying and in turn Ispada killed every single raider that night. He walked out of that village without his right eye returning to the raider's camp. Gathering his things and trying to leave without a conflict he was stopped by his peers. Refusing to let him leave Ispada was forced to draw his sword and kill all who would stand in his way.

His travels took him to Bree where he stayed in the Prancing Pony for some time offering himself as a mercenary. His only conditions were not to kill anyone who would not willing fight back. Although he would not consider himself one to fight for the good of Middle-Earth it would seem fate has placed him on their side. Despite this many question his methods as he is not for one sneaking around or talking his way out of conflict that could be settled with his sword. As his reputation grew, a wild card at best, the elves of Rivendell requested his services for tasks that needed such a man. Gaining their trust the elves would be the first to discover that despite his fierce bloodlust for fighting, Ispada had a great deal of respect for honor.

On the final days of the conflict with the Shadows of Angmar Ispada would come to the elves of Rivendell and offer his services to them with no conditions. When asked why he would now offer himself for the good of Middle-Earth instead of being a mercenary for them; Ispada explained that some things are worth fighting for even if that is to live to fight another day. He was then recommended to seek out the Grace of the Valar as both the kinship and he would benefit from each other.

Once earning their trust and becoming a full member of the kinship he serves now as one of their powerful champions allowing him to keep to his bloodlust but for the good of Middle-Earth.
