Description

|-|Physical Appearance|-| Daelom appears to be a younger man of solid build, having trained with his father in Minas Tirith during the beginning of the wars. He primarily wears the colors of Gondor, prefering Blacks, Silvers, Blues, and Violets. His full beard and mustache defy his otherwise young looking face. His sharp blue eyes are tinged grey around the edges, and seem to pierce the heart and mind when met. He bears a scar over his right eye from when he was besieged on his journey north.

-{--- Personality ---}- Daelom can be very friendly at times, but it is rather difficult to earn his trust, though this usually does not apply to the Elves. His rather daunting build and size is offset by a soft voice and a love for music. His is very thoughtful and can spend hours staring into a fire, puffing his pipe. An avid listener, Daelom has been known to be a person to rarely give advice, for like the elves he will say both yes and no. But should a traveler with great stories be present, Daelom will listen when no others will.

<-(--Accent--)-> Daelom has a rather common acccent, though in our world it would be rather Scottish in sound. He speaks with an older style of wording, and many a time has had to repeat what he had said.

-|-Bio-|- (Current) After his father died in battle at Osgiliath, Daelom remained in Minas Tirith for a few years, furthering his knowledge of weaponry and combat. He then set out northward, beyond the White Mountains. He followed the path of the Misty Mountains for many days, following them ever northward. As he passed near the ancient Gates of Moria however, he was besieged for a week or more by a mighty pack of wandering Wargs. Surrounded, Daelom held them off for that entire time, feeding on the meat from the fallen Wargs after his own rations ran out. The meat made him sick, and he was nearly overcome before a scouting party from Imladris found him and drove the Wargs off. In need of medical attention, he was brought to Imladris and treated by the wise and skilled healers residing in the Lord Elrond's halls.

There, in the Last Homely House, Daelom spent nearly a year, learning many a tale and many more songs. His favorite songs were actually made by one not of the Elven kindred, but nearly as welcome as one. It was a Halfling, a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins. From the Hobbit, Daelom learned many stories and many tales, and his friendship with Bilbo was welcomed by the elves, saying the old Hobbit needed a new friend. Bilbo, very pleased with Daelom's eagerness to learn, dubbed him Sinta'faraar in the Elvish tongue, roughly translated as Hunter of Knowledge.

After some time in Rivendell, Daelom set out again, heading west towards the town of Bree. Along the road, he was attacked while resting by the road, and taken captive by a group of brigands known as the Blackwolds. Waking in a rudimentary cell, Daelom was confronted silently by a hooded Ranger named Amdir, who eventually helped him and two Hobbits escape captivity and brought them to Archet. In that small town, Daelom came across his brother, whom he'd been long separated from. They bonded once more on the spot, and together helped free Archet from the Blackwold's threat.
