Description

Born III 2989, 17th Forlithe, Hawys and her twin, Lonice, grew up in Staddle, a village on the South-Eastern side of Bree-hill. Their family owned a pipeweed farm and both children were expected to help, rising early and going to bed as soon as it was too dark to work.

Despite this laborious lifestyle both hobbit children were happy, though Lonice was prone to daydreaming rather than working. He was all the time making up ridiculous verses and Hawys was all the time trying to prod him back on track. The two are nearly inseparable, however, and while she teased her brother she wouldn't allow anyone else to do so.

Although just out of her tweens she still lives with her parents. She hasn't really had any romantic prospects yet, but she's still young so she's not too concerned about it yet. She knows that once she gets married she'll move off her parents farm, but for now she's content to help them out and get her brother out of trouble.

Personality Description: Hawys is one of those young women referred to as spunky by those who like her and a nuisance by those who don't. She's opinionated and stubborn, traits that are as likely to get her in trouble as they are to prove useful.

She's not afraid to get dirty and has been known to smack people who pick on her brother. She's very protective of him; it's possible she's a bit too protective, as she doesn't like to let him out of her sight. She doesn't believe he can take care of himself.
