Physical Description: With brown hair, brown eyes and a round face, Bundo Halefoot is a rather conventional-looking hobbit of Stoor stock. His most noteworthy feature is his gear; for, in most un-hobbitlike fashion, he wears armour and carries a shield. A simple weapon, typically a club or axe, completes his sensible (if outlandish by Shire standards) travelling ensemble.

Personality Description: Bundo is a simple, sturdy hobbit with uncomplicated tastes. Good beer, hearty food, a song and a smoke comprise most of what he really enjoys in life. But he has seen and done much in the past year (much of it unpleasant), and understands too well the danger that now faces his beloved Shire. "And that can't get fixed," he says, "by staying safe at home, much as I'd like to." Moreover he is determined to prove himself, and not prove himself a burden, to his new friends in the Mithril Circle. Bundo is far more stout in a pinch than even he gives himself credit for.

Bundo Halefoot is a young hobbit from Hobbiton who until very recently was steadily employed as a hired hand on one of the farms outside of town.

Though he is an uneducated hobbit from the working class, Bundo has learned to read a little, and to write his own name, thanks to patient tutoring from his good friend, the Ranger Barandil. (Letters from Bundo generally are dictated by the hobbit to a friend or the postmaster, who does the actual handwriting.)
