Story

Farathor was once a Blackwold, stealing and burning like the rest of them, until the day Herone Silverton and his Brother Greysalan raided the fort of Ost Baranor after some stolen Pipe-weed. Though Jasper Mudbottom ran off with it, and the brother's never found the pipe-weed, they still killed their share of brigands. When Farathor's turn came to resist against the brothers, he saw that he stood no chance, and dropped to his knees, hands above his head. "Please don't kill me, good sir! Please! I'll repent, I'll give up my old ways, I swear it!" Herone spared his life, on the condition that Farathor helped them end the Blackwolds once and for all. After the incident, Farathor eagerly followed Herone, and was always at his beck and call. They never got a chance to finish the Blackwolds for they heard later that Skorgrim, the Leader of the Dourhands had done it for them. Though Herone freed Farathor on this news, Farathor had nowhere to go, having lost his family early on to the Blackwolds, so he asked permission to continue following Herone and his brother on their journey. Having found Farathor a good companion to have in a fight, Herone agreed that Farathor could follow them. To this day, Farathor would do anything for the one who spared his life so mercifully.

Personal Description

Being used to the life of the Blackwolds, Farathor rarely talks, but when he does, it is something to pay attention to. Though he has gotten Herone and Greysalan in plenty of trouble by his unusual conspicuity to hostile creature, and his lust for fighting, he has certainly helped them out of it more times than one. Farathor is much more of a follower, and his meek personality while out of battle attributes to his poor leadership. Farathor, while now a free man, likes to cling to anonymity; everything he does he must have confirmed. Herone is who he looks up to as a boss, and will do whatever Herone asks him to do. He has timid eyes that reflect his submissiveness, and had premature thin grey hair, which he attempts to hide by constantly applying sienna dye. He has a rather small build, but his battle-frenzy makes up for this. While in a skirmish, there isn't another ex-blackwold you would want more to fight by your side.

Friends

Herone Silverton is his master and friend. Farathor would do anything that Herone bids him do.

Greysalan Silverton is Herone's brother, and together, the three make up a fearsome pair.

Enemies

The remaining Blackwolds that stay loyal to their original cause are hostile to the traitorous Farathor, but while he follows Herone, he knows that they cannot touch him.
