Ashmahn was a born leader. He was always the head of his teams in games he played as a child. When he heard about the uprising of Angmar he immediately became a captain to fight for the Free Peoples. He has a soft spot for hobbits because he was near so many when he grew up, which is also the reason he takes so much to farming.

Personality Description: Ashmahn was a humble man. He is kind hearted and always tries to help those in need. He doesn't like to be in the spot light too much, yet his work against the Witch King has had him anything but.

Ashmahn has always been a farmer, and he was always interested in the history of Eriador. Becoming an adventurer has taken away from his farming, but has given him the chance to explore the history of Eriador. He currently thinks that there is nothing on the other side of the Misty Mountains except another ocean. He thinks that all Dwarves come from Ered Luin and all Elves just come from somewhere up north. As for Rohan and Gondor, he thinks that they are just really far south.

Ashmahn was raised in Bree throughout his childhood. At age 19 his parents left for Trestlebridge and he hasn't had a word since. Ashmahn was in his favorite inn, The Prancing Pony, where he always listens to what people say to keep up in the news. He over heard some people talking about troubles in the north one day. Steering away from his studies as a scholar and his farm he ventured one month away towards Trestlebridge. It was there he saw the horror, people screeming and running with orcs growling and cheering. He flew as fast as he could away, knowing that his only fist fight would never be enough experience to take on an orc and didn't want to be part of the burden. He immediately started his training in Archet. He was sneeking around some brigands he heard were mugging people, only to be captured. After a week with the brigands he met a fellow named Amdir, who helped set him free.

Ashmahn now lives in Blackwall on 2 Fountain Street, south of the Midgewater Marshes. His only title is Ashmahn Bolgahn of Bree-land, but some who saw him in Trestlebridge call him the coward.
