Physical Description: Camuril is best noted by his pale blue/green eyes which look out upon the world with a quiet contemplation. They bear within them the wisdom and burden that accompany the long life one expects from elvenkind. His fair complexion is contrasted sharply by his dark black hair. He seems to radiate a presence of calm and peace despite his not insignificant stature.

Personality Description: Camuril is known not by a commanding aura or great oratory but by his long life of service and sacrifice. He is easy with a smile or a shoulder and a word of wisdom but ever ready to place himself in harms way for another even though he knows them not. Suspicious of men, he bears a fondness of hobbits and a certain understanding of dwarves that could be called an unusual comraderie.

Camuril has lived a long life and those experiences have born upon him heavily. He speaks little of days past save of those memories he would call fond. He is utterly devoted to the house of Finwe and as such has taken his residence in Rivendell where hangs the banner of Gil-Galad. Though Elrond does not claim the title of High King, he is still of Finwe's line and so Camuril serves as his own oaths demand. He is called Arthandir for his long service.
