Description

Physical Description: Xero is a slightly above average hobbit when it comes to height. He has a bit of a ale stomach on him, but underneath lies strong muscles. His eyes are an emerald green, and his hair a curly brown. He's taken a fashion to trimming the hair of his feet in a specific manner, leading down into three triangular shapes near his toes.

Personality Description: Xero is generally a cheerful hobbit, though his personality has changed greatly from what it was from when he first became a Bounder. Once uncaring for happenings outside the bounds, he now has more compassion for peoples strife in other lands. He feels great pride in protecting those not just inside The Shire, but the many people outside the bounds. When not helping others, he enjoys playing music on his lute or clarinet, and sampling food from whatever area he's in.

Bio

Xero was born February 17th, in the year 2994 of the Third Age. He grew up normal life by hobbit standards, living with his family in their old house in Budgeford, learning the art of The Hunt from his grandfather. As a child, Xero heard many tales of "Mad" Bilbo Baggins and his adventure involving a dragon. While these tales were fun to listen to, Xero himself was never too interested in having an adventure of his own, and never bothered doing more than he truly had to.

At the age of 24, though, many strange occurances in The Shire caused him to change his mind. Dark things were happening in The Shire, and something had to be done. Xero watched as all the other hobbits simply talked about these occurances, and did nothing about them. The only people who were truly trying to help fix things were the Bounder's, and they weren't even doing a good job! Xero took a stand and decided to do whatever it took to help protect The Shire. This meant becoming an Honourary Shirriff!

Xero spent many many months helping out his fellow Hobbit, and through the course of his deeds, found himself involved in something much more. He was assigned a small task to go to Bree, and upon doing so, he met the Ranger, Strider. Upon doing so, he found the true source of all the bad things that had come to The Shire, and eventually met the Grey Wizard himself, who led old Bilbo on his first adventure... Gandalf! Gandalf explained that the things happening in The Shire weren't isolated. Dark times were ahead for all of Middle-earth. After his meeting with Gandalf, Xero decided he would help not just The Shire, but all of Middle-earth!

Upon returning to The Shire, and telling of his adventures in Bree, Xero was appointed a special and honourary position that only he would hold. He was to be recognized as the first "Out-Bounder". A Shirriff who protected more than just The Shire, but wherever he may go!

Ever since then Xero has travelled Eriador, helping whomever is in need. His adventure has taken him from the his simple living in the Shire, to the cold and bitter Misty Mountains, to the wonder and beauty of Rivendell, and the desolate wastes of Angmar. Even so, Xero's adventure has only just begun!
