Player Entry
Volume 1 refers to the first volume, Shadows of Angmar, in the epic questline of Lord of the Rings Online. Volume 1 is comprised of 15 books, each comprised of multiple chapters.

Inspired Greatness
Each chapter in a book in Volume 1 is generally a single quest -- some of these quests are instanced. Some of the quests (generally the instances) are designed with fellowships in mind. If a player chooses to solo a Volume 1 instance, the Inspired Greatness buff is granted for the duration of the instance, so as to allow the player to solo the instance.
