About Us

After weeks of hearing rumors about Angmar once again stirring Brand, King of Dale called upon The Elves of Mirkwood and the Dwarfs of Lonely Mountain to discuss the possibility of a threat from that area.Both Dain Ironfoot, King of Durin's Folk and Thranduil, King of the Wood-elves agreed with Brand that more information was needed. After much discussion a charter was made and a fellowship was formed of men, dwarves and elves.This fellowship was to be known as the Wardeins of Esgaroth and they were charged with learning all they could about what was going on out west in Eriador. They were to recruit allies(this includes hobbits) from locals and to assist the Free Peoples in any way they could.
